TRAUMA -INFORMED ONLINE COUNSELLING FOR ADULTS ACROSS THE UK

Sometimes being truly heard is where healing begins.

Life can sometimes pull the ground from under you through relationship breakdown, family crisis, or experiences that leave you feeling shocked, ashamed, anxious or lost. Whatever brought you here, you deserve a space where you can speak openly and begin to make sense of what you're carrying.

I  support adults experiencing trauma and family crises, with a focus on partners and adult children of individuals arrested for sexual offences.

Whatever you're carrying right now, whether it's something specific or just a weight you can't quite name. Your feelings are valid, and you deserve support with them.

Does this sound familiar?

Has life shifted in ways you didn’t expect? You may be navigating a relationship breakdown, divorce, bereavement, or a situation that has left you feeling emotionally unsettled and unsure of where to turn.

Perhaps you’re trying to make sense of difficult family circumstances or simply finding it hard to manage everything you’re feeling at once.

On the outside you might be coping, but inside things can feel confusing, exhausting, or overwhelming.

It might look like:

✱ Lying awake at 2am with your thoughts running.
✱ Snapping at people you love, then feeling guilty about it.
✱ Putting on a brave face at work while quietly dreading the drive home.
✱ Or just a persistent sense that you're not quite present in your own life, like you're watching it from a slight distance.

These aren't character flaws. They're what it looks like when someone hasn't had the right space to process what they've been through.

Imagine how things could feel…

Having a steady, supportive space that's entirely yours. Where you can slow things down and say the things you haven't been able to say out loud, and start to make sense of them.

Feeling less reactive, less stuck, and more grounded, more like the version of yourself you recognise.

You are clearer in your thoughts, and better able to understand your emotions without being consumed by them.

With the right support, it becomes possible to move through change, reconnect with yourself, and begin to feel more in control of your own direction again.

Trauma-Informed Online Counselling for Adults Across the UK

Trauma-informed therapy for adults facing overwhelming life experiences, including partners and adult children of individuals arrested for sexual offences.

Online Therapy

Therapy can become a place where you no longer have to keep everything in your head or work things out on your own.

Having regular time set aside to speak openly, reflect, and feel genuinely listened to can bring a real sense of relief especially when life has felt emotionally crowded or hard to make sense of.

Sessions are shaped around what feels important to you, without pressure to explain yourself perfectly or arrive with all the answers.

I work in a gentle, down-to-earth way and take time to build a relationship where you feel comfortable enough to speak honestly over time.

When thoughts and feelings are given proper space and attention, something shifts. You begin to understand yourself more clearly, not because someone has fixed you, but because you've finally had room to hear yourself.

Hello, I’m Louise,

A qualified integrative counsellor working with adults who are navigating life transitions, relationship breakdowns, bereavement, and emotional overwhelm.

I was drawn to train as a counsellor because I have always been told I am a good listener. Over time, I came to realise this is something many people don’t always feel they have around them, and I wanted to offer a space where people truly feel heard and understood.

Being heard has the power to soften overwhelm and make space for change.

My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, which simply means I work in a way that is flexible and shaped around you.

My core training is Person-Centred, which is grounded in the belief that you are the expert in your own experience and healing.

I am also aware that choosing a counsellor can feel overwhelming. That is why I offer a 20-minute free consultation, giving you a chance to see how it feels to talk together and whether we connect.

That sense of connection is often an important part of the therapeutic relationship and can really support the work we do in sessions.

If you are thinking about starting therapy, you do not need to have everything figured out.

You are welcome to reach out when you feel ready
